.Key Roles and Responsibilities :Develop and drive the implementation of an integrated procurement strategy and policy, ensure alignment of processes and activities and ensure compliance.Promote the implementation of efficient and effective procurement practices, systems and processes to achieve the procurement strategy.Accountable for the development and adherence to procurement and savings budget.Work closely with NTT Global Sourcing who is responsible for all strategic sourcing efforts across all categories in the organisation, focusing on cost reduction, quality improvement, and supply chain optimization.Maintain sound relationships with vendors and clients,intervene with critical escalated queries from these stakeholders.Drive responsive service and timely resolution of all issues.Support respective NTT Sourcing Centers with contract negotiations with vendors and suppliers and work with legal to establish contracts and agreements.Maintain a solid understanding of the contractual responsibilities related to agreements with key suppliers.Participate in vendor performance reviews and ensure the implementation of any corrective actions identified.Lead the creation of spend forecasts and then monitor these against the actual spend.Advise on the streamlining of purchasing processes, using current tools and automation opportunities to eliminate manual steps in the process.Review purchase order claims and contracts for conformance to company policy and drive compliance to purchasing rules and regulations.Develop and report on procurement key performance indicators.Knowledge, Skills and Attributes :- Deep knowledge of global sourcing and procurement strategies, tactics, processes, procedures and systems- Strong understanding of the market conditions and trendsDeep understanding of the category market place in multiple categoriesExcellent strategic thinking capabilityDeep knowledge and understanding of IT industry environment and business needsExcellent ability to engage with a variety of stakeholders and colleagues at all levelsProficiency in Microsoft Office and purchasing softwareExcellent critical thinking and negotiation skillsStrong planning and organisational skillsExcellent ability to establish and manage processes and practices through collaboration and the understanding of businessExcellent communication skills (verbal and written) with the ability to present information clearly and succinctlyExcellent leadership skills with the ability to manage a teamAbility to recognise opportunities for enhancement and continuous improvementAbility to coach and mentor a team to drive deliverablesThorough knowledge of negotiation techniques in the industryExcellent judgement along with decision making skillsAcademic Qualifications and Certifications :Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, or a related field.
