Achieve your ambitions – join us at JLL!Role Purpose Reporting to the Account Director and with direct collaboration with the Engineering Services Regional Operations Director the Regional Engineering Director will ensure successful Engineering and Energy service delivery to the client across the country portfolio.The individual will assume the lead role in the engineering service delivery, developing and cultivating a “One Team” IFM culture that demonstrates collaborative behaviours at all times both internally and with client interfaces.It is essential that the Account Engineering Lead is very strong technically, is an outstanding leader of teams, and has excellent communication skills at all levels of management.The Account Engineering Lead will be the Engineering Services single point of contact for the engineering and energy savings delivery and will be responsible for:Goal Zero – Embed EHS as a way of doing businessEnsure a high level of client satisfaction, establishing and managing the service delivery teams, and ensuring consistency in process, systems, and reportingEnsure the efficient and consistent operation of all Facility Engineering activities to meet contractual obligations with respect to the property portfolio throughout the regionAchieving the Engineering savings glide path whilst maintaining performanceAchieve the energy savings glide pathBe a respected leader in all matters Engineering & Energy Saving on accountWhat this job involves Financial ManagementLead the development & execution of site level Engineering budgets and Forecasting in accordance with client and Finance Director requirementsBe responsible for achievement of the agreed financial targets to include revenue, expenses, savings, and aged debtors.Manage the net operating revenue and protect margin for the IFM business.Participate in the quarterly forecasting sessions.In collaboration with the Engineering Services Commercial Director oversee the billing of the Engineering Services accounts in accordance with the management agreements.Meet the engineering growth targets for the accountLook for opportunities to cross-sell services and work with other business lines to convert.Operational ExcellenceEnsure MSA & KPI assurance, Local Legislation Compliance, Implementation of Corporate Initiatives, Implementation and evidencing of training and procedure to ISO9001 standard.Be responsible for the direct management of all resources involved in the delivery of Engineering Services. (e.g. recruitment, ethics, performance assessment, personal development, personal wellbeing) driving JLL standing as employer of choice.Actively manage the professional development of all direct reports.Prepare and implement a succession plan for key positions of direct and in-direct reports.Be responsible for the implementation of technology systems to support services delivery, including required reporting.Support the development and ensure effective implementation of standard operating and maintenance procedures & processes for the account.Support the development and then implement and manage all regional initiatives and programs across the region.Drive client specific initiatives such as savings targets, benchmarking and best practices, including EHS risk management.Drive regional consistency across the account e.g. reporting, SOP’, systems, and HR practices.Drive a continuous improvement culture in respect to operational delivery.Drive the implementation of Next Generation Maintenance program and technology platforms.Provide accurate data and operational knowledge to drive operational improvements through root cause failure analysis, predictive failure mode, and mean time to failure trending.Establish consistency in monthly reporting across portfolio to the satisfaction of the JLL and Client reporting requirementsClient and Account ManagementBe the single point of contact for JLL IFM Engineering service delivery and act as escalation point across the region.Be accountable for the service delivery to meet the contractual obligations in respect to engineering and energy management across the account.Manage relationships with key stakeholders in the client’s organisation.Develop and maintain a detailed understanding on the clients business and key factors influencing their requirements for our services.Contract ManagementEnsure the adherence to the Master Service Agreement and all Engineering deliverables.Be responsible for the achievement of key performance indicators, service levels and other measures as contracted.Implement and manage the change control process.Manage the governance process for the engineering work streams within the account.Client ValueDevelop strong relationships with key personnel in client organisationDemonstrate to client – IFM’s engineering value and global best practicesEnsure client surveys are conducted and co-ordinate client feedback follow-up program.Health & SafetyEnforce a zero tolerance to unsafe working practices to target a goal zero accident rate.Transition ManagementSupport account transition programs and ensure engineering best practices & policies are adhered to.Support research and development of innovative ideas for JLL to maintain its competitive edge.Evaluate, propose & pilot appropriate tools/processes to support the engineering operation.Compliance, training, & AccreditationEnsure effective and timely implementation of training plans to enhance and develop the skills of technicians to ensure they remain competent to carry out their assigned duties and reduce our reliance on sub-contractors.Ensure engineering services is 100% certified by the recognised external governing organisation where appropriate to do soEnsure engineering practices are continuously compliant with legal, statutory and contractual obligations and are being consistently executed across the client portfolio in accordance with current JLL practice and best in class requirements.Best PracticeDevelop feasibility / proof case studies as requestedTo assist in the development of marketing materials that describe the JLL approach to the engineering function which can be used to demonstrate the firms’ capabilities to potential new clients during business pursuits.Senior Management Team ResponsibilitiesActive collaborative participation in all central IFM /Engineering leadership / management meetingsSound like you?
