Our opportunity
Application Support & release manager
The role of Application Support & Release Manager is to provide day-to-day support to the production environment of this Zurich IT start-up consisting of monitoring, incident management and release management of production deployments

Your role
As Application Support & Release Manager your main responsibilities will involve:
Day-to-day monitoring of the production environment containing IT applications (mobile, web, core back-ends, interfaces etc.) and (Cloud) infrastructure and components (application gateways, api manager, cloud resources etc.)

Identification and investigation of (potential) IT failures and incidents within the production environment and coordinating defect fixing with the development teams

Perform IT Incident management and drive IT issue investigation and resolution including root cause analysis and improvement actions

Plan and lead production release management managing deployment of new functionality into the production environment (including run-book, production validation and app publication)

Alignment on issues and changes and coordination with external parties providing interfaces or SaaS applications to the production environment

Your Skills and Experience

As Application support & release manager your skills and qualifications will ideally include:

Bachelors' Degree in Information Technology

At least 4 years of experience as a application support and/or incident manager

Background on IT Incident management, IT monitoring, IT issue investigation and resolution and release management

Experience with Release management process and code deployment into Production environments including app publication and web front-end deployment

Experience with end-2-end IT application landscape (e.g. mobile, web, core back-ends, interfaces etc.) and cloud infrastructure and components (e.g. application gateways, api manager, cloud resources etc.)

Preferred: Background in Insurance of Financial Services

Very good English skills and communicative Spanish
