Analyzing, controlling and reporting all financial data related both to Capital expenditures and Operational expenditures ensuring optimal use of company resources in the area. Responsible for coordinating and preparing planning and operational analysis to support CapEx / OpEx management with strategic decision-making and improve operating performance. Reporting, collaborating and supporting the Engineering & Facilities area in all aspects regarding CapEx / OpEx most of the time (80-85%). Key responsibilities : Work closely with CapEx / OpEx managers to develop budgets, forecasts, and understand variance Conduct monthly CapEx / OpEx variance analysis and reporting Developing CapEx / OpEx cost standards for materials and labor, designing and implementing cost tracking systems to capture relevant cost information, analyzing production costs and recommending / implementing changes Propose solutions in order to rectify potential errors as well as to increase the efficiency of operations / reduce costs Monitoring CapEx / OpEx KPI's by analyzing deviations against Budget and Business Plan Maintain controls over CapEx / OpEx inventory movement and ensure the integrity of the perpetual inventory system including review of inventory transactions, the reconciliation of the general ledger to the physical inventory records Preparation of CapEx / OpEx financial outlooks and financial forecasts Promote fiscal responsibility and cost awareness without sacrificing speed and quality Support informed and educated decisions in the area of CapEx / OpEx Management Support business case creation related with CapEx projects Prepare financial analysis for contract negotiations and product investment decisions regarding CapEx Identify and make proposal to mitigate risks in capital projects Partnering with CapEx / OpEx managers in business. Preparation of responses to legal-financial requirements related to assets & facilities (taxes, industrial register ) Key requirements : Bachelor Degree in Finance / Accounting MS Degree in Economy or MBA Knowledge about Spanish legal requirements and procedures Contract management expertise desired Experience in industrial manufacturing environment Masters Microsoft Excel Business fluent in English Spanish native speaker Excellent communication & presentation skills Relevant financial modelling, analysis and reporting experience with at least 2 to 3 years of forecasting and budgeting management experience gained within multinational manufacturing corporations. Experienced with high end financial reporting systems, such as Hyperion, and Business ERP Systems, such as SAP. Manages ambiguity through effective communication, collaboration; removes barriers and overcomes resistance skillfully. Translates corporate strategy into critical success factors and creates breakthrough implementation plans. Creates mechanisms to share information and knowledge across functions.
