col-wideJob Description:Responsibilities :Perform opening and closing dutiesFill in opening and closing check listSetting up the working station, ensure that it is well organised to prepare the serviceHelp the waiters in preparation of the venueCollect empty plates and take them to the dishwasher areaHelp cleaning the table after customers leaveAssists the restaurant team and serve the client on timeAssists to set up station properly and on time for each service periodBe able to work in another area when neededFollow clean as you go policy and keep work area clean at all timeEnsuring good hygiene and health and safety at all timeFolding napkinsChange and clean ashtraysRefill candle holdersRefill olive oil vinegar when neededEnsure the closing team leave the venue as per the standard for the opening teamAttend daily briefingBefore the service :Prepare service station for operationSet up the restaurantArrange the seating's according to given allocationsCheck salt and peper refill if neededAttend daily briefing (always wear your uniform)Make sure you always have the necessary prior the start of the service : notepad, pens, wine opener etc...Be presentableMake sure your breath is fresh During the service :Welcome guestMaintain high quality service and friendly atmosphereServing water Follow the direction of the waiterBe responsible for a perfect table maintenance : clean the table, empty ashtrays, pouring water and wine constantly, maintain eyes contact with the table all the timeCollect empty plates and place them correctly on a traySet up the table after each course equipping the proper cutlery for each guestFolding Napkins : as soon one guest leave temporarily the table (ex : going toilette)Help the waiter for sharing food : be sure that all the guests receive a proper portion of food.After service :Break down your sectionMake sure all closing duties are completedFill in check listConsult with your superior regarding your feedback on the shiftMake sure that everything is clean and tidyPolish cutlery & glasses
