About your Role In your role as Junior Software Developer , you will directly contribute to the development of new products and features working on all phases of the software development lifecycle. You will work in an agile cross-functional team, delivering quality code you can be proud of using a modern tech stack (Java, TypeScript, React, Oracle SQL etc.). Always in collaboration and supported by your experienced team members. Key Role Responsibilities Your responsibilities will include: Learn through doing, with the support and mentoring of our experienced team members. Write clean, secure, and well-tested code to develop new functionality and support existing features. Implement full-stack solutions that include database schema, business logic as well as presentation layer work. Use best practices to create software with the highest levels of reliability, efficiency, scalability, security, and user experience. Write unit and integration tests using automated test environments to ensure code and product quality. Liaise with end-users, QA experts, and product managers to troubleshoot bugs, fix defects and test them. Work in cooperation with more senior engineers and architect to explore and suggest appropriate technical solutions to achieve the required product features. Your Skills and Qualifications BSc in Computer Science or relevant experience in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) Excellent knowledge of at least one programming language (Java, JavaScript, C# or similar) with the ability to write programs and apply OOP principles. Good understanding of SQL and relational databases. Excellent communication skills in English. Interest in gaining experience as a full-stack developer. Gaining competence in own area and acquiring a higher level understanding of role, processes and procedures. BS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 0-2 years of previous software engineering or related experience.
