The Personalization team, within the Machine Learning Chapter and Engineering Department, plays a central role in implementing algorithms that utilize personalization signals to optimize for business KPIs like revenue & conversions.
We focus on metrics over features, arming our ranking and recommendation algorithms with powerful personalization capabilities that bring value to customers in the way they care the most about.
The team consists of a mix of ML & product engineers owning & collaborating on multiple projects.
As a member of the Personalization team, you will use world-class analytical, engineering and machine learning techniques on big data to shape and scale our personalization algorithms.
Challenges you will tackle Build and deploy robust ML systems / algorithms for personalized product discovery experiencesCollaborate with technical and non-technical business partners to develop / update personalization features across Constructor product suiteBuild fast, robust and scalable services including our User History and User Profile APIParticipate in architectural discussions and optimize the system architecture of the Personalization domainRequirements Have Python experienceHave experience with server-side coding and API designHave experience with relational databases, key-value database and distributed systemsHave experience with building services based on the ML modelsHave worked at a high-traffic website with highly available and robust systemsExperience with a public cloud like AWS, Azure or GCPLove designing and implementing new featuresEnjoy helping others around you grow as developers and be successfulCan work independentlyCan pick up new ideas and technologies quickly and loves learning and talking to others about themLove to experiment and use data and customer feedback to drive decision-makingGood to have Experience with system architecture and designExperience shipping personalization & search (recommendation) systems to productionExperience with MLOpsCompensation : base range of 90-110k USD + stock options + work from home bonusFully remote team - choose where you liveWork from home stipend!
