The Branch Manager’s main mission is to guarantee the achievement and improvement of his/her market by managing his/her commercial team in a defined geographical area, and to maximise CMA CGM Barcelona volume growth in terms of volume, revenue and profitability.
By developing and maintaining a business action plan, you implement management tools to follow sales teams’ performances and market developments while identifying competitors and customers.
To maintain direct contact with customers through regular sales calls.
To ensure execution of annual budget.
To guarantee that all commercial activity is duly performed according to sales plan established in order to achieve results expected.
Hold meetings with team to review specific business opportunities and target accounts programs.
You develop and analyse market statistics on a regular basis and you report to the National Sales Director and Sales teams based in Head office.
You ensure the implementation, monitoring and understanding of business rules and processes of the Group in your local structure and you drive and implement actions to achieve the performances goals (KPI’s) given by the General Management/HO.
Based on current market share, dynamics of the market, the potential to generate revenue and the potential to secure volumes, you are forced to bring forward proposals and you conduct business studies for creation of services and lines development.
You possess a postgraduate degree (+5 years) in Business, Management or Logistics and at least 5 years of professional experience in maritime activities in Head office or an Agency.
Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills. Confidence in dealing with different types of customer. Proactivity and negotiation skills required. Spanish is highly required. You have a high knowledge of English. You are well organized, self-reliant with entrepreneurship skills. Your interpersonal skills and your good sense of communication make you a valuable team builder and able to protect the best interests of our Company.
