For this position, the battery system engineering team is looking for a Cell Engineer who has extensive knowledge in Lithium-ion battery cell chemistry. The Cell Engineer's major responsibility is to lead and review cell characterisation campaigns and cell test results to ensure the cell performance meets the cell specification. This role requires close collaboration with cell suppliers to guarantee that cell performance aligns with battery pack specifications, encompassing cell selection, performance simulations, and cell-level test results.
Additionally, the role involves working closely with other System Engineers to create and validate 1D models and optimizing cell performance in conjunction with the battery design. The cell engineer is also assuming technology intelligence and benchmarking in the field of battery cell development.
