Your RoleWe are searching for a full-time Lead Consultant specialized in Biostatistics for our offices in Paris, London, Toronto or Barcelona.As a member of Amaris HEMA, you will be an important part of a multidisciplinary team and will work on both local and global projects. Your involvement on projects will continue to expand as you grow within the team and further develop your technical and leadership skills. You will be responsible for conducting projects for a wide array of clients operating in diverse therapeutic areas. If you are passionate about what you do and are looking to grow and contribute to the development of those around you, you have come to the right place.The role will include the following responsibilities:Providing management and technical support to other team member within the HEMA departmentCoordinating all phases of statistical project such as systematic literature review, data collection in web survey, and real-world studiesManaging client relationship upon projects and providing supportive answers to RFPsProviding support on the identification of the methodological approaches to be used by the analytical team to address a study areaDeveloping study designs, Interpreting study results in the context of HEOR projectsAnalysing the data using a variety of statistical methodsWork as the lead analyst in innovative/research projectsLead the development of content/solution section of proposals including for innovative projectsLead publication writing and/or meetings to represent the company expertiseEnsure high client satisfactionContribute to the development of SOPs, templates, processes in the team area of expertiseComply with internal processes regarding project management and trackingProvide regular feedback to team leadMentor junior team members (guidance on methodological expertise, soft skills and professional development)Manage large / multiple projects independently with hands-on development where appropriateRepresent company expertise in capabilities presentations, conferences and external eventsThe candidate should possess the following skills/experience:Advanced degree in Statistics, Biostatistics (minimum MS degree or equivalent)3+ years of relevant working experience in StatisticsProficiency in SAS or R programmingStrong knowledge of statistical methods for clinical trial data analyses, RWE and/or NMAExcellent project organization and managementExperience in project team supervision and leadership skillsExcellent oral and written communication to ensure a communication with client and team members as well as in providing supportFluency in English (written & spoken)Ability to work independently as well as in a team environmentAbility to identify , design, organize, implement and present the project approach and planCreative thinking, problem-solvingThe ideal candidate will possess the following skills in addition to the requirements:5-7 years of relevant working experience in Statistics3+ years experience in a consultancy roleAbility to analyze relationships between activities in the company to optimize synergies, lead client communication and create opportunitiesProven track record of leading biostatistics projects in different contextsExtensive experience in clinical trials analysis, survival analysis, RWE and NMAPlease provide a cover letter to accompany your CV.
