Business Intelligence Engineer

We are looking for a Business Intelligence (BI) Engineer to design, develop, and maintain BI solutions that drive data-driven decision-making.
The ideal candidate will have experience in data modeling, dashboard development, and optimizing data pipelines to support reporting and analytics.
Design, develop, and maintain BI dashboards, reports, and visualizations using tools like TableauWork closely with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into actionable insightsOptimize and maintain data models and warehouses for efficient querying and reportingDevelop and maintain ETL / ELT pipelines to support BI and analytics solutionsEnsure data accuracy, integrity, and security in all reporting solutionsAutomate data extraction, transformation, and reporting processes for efficiencyWork with cloud-based BI solutions (AWS) and databases (SQL, Snowflake)Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and business teams to drive data initiativesMeet regularly with the line manager to review progressManage issue resolution and critically escalateWork effectively with other teams, units, and departmentsManage issues with clarity and ensure effective information flow and team workingSupport other organization's priority activities, when necessaryAct as an Omilia ambassadorRequirements Bachelor's (or Master's) degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or related fieldExcellent professional level knowledge of English2+ years of experience in BI development, data visualization, or data analyticsStrong experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker, Qlik, etc.
)Experience in SQL for data extraction and transformationKnowledge of ETL / ELT processes and data pipeline managementStrong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracyNice to have : Experience with Python or R for data manipulation and automationExperience with SnowflakeExperience with cloud-based data platforms (AWS S3, Azure Data Lake, Google BigQuery, etc.
)Familiarity with cloud BI tools (AWS QuickSight, Google Data Studio, Azure Synapse, etc.
