Role and ResponsibilitiesDevelop software to simulate military aircraft, which consists in the implementation of object-oriented software components mainly in C++ language for the purpose of reproducing the behaviour of the aircraft in real-time. This includes the simulation of digital and analog signals of the various avionics boxes included in the aircraft.Participate all phases of the development spanning problem analysis, requirements definition, design, implementation, informal testing, troubleshooting and integration, and in the support to the user’s community.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Engineering or Computer Science.Required Experience: over 10 years in software development.Knowledge of the following computer languages: C++, C#, Java (an asset) and FPGA (as asset).Ability to work as part of a team and interact with different multidisciplinary groups.Ability to communicate in English (spoken and written) on a technical subject.AssetsKnowledge of aeronautics and/or avionics is an asset.Experience in real-time simulation software.Operational RequirementsMust be eligible for registration to the Controlled Goods Program.Must be eligible to obtaining and maintaining the government of Canada’s “Reliability” status and Level 2 (Secret) security clearance.Work will be performed mostly in Mirabel (occasionally in Saint-Laurent). Main work location is not accessible via public transportation.
