Qualifications Master's degree in business, engineering or economics with a very good academic record
Relevant internships or a maximum of 2 years work experience in the Electric Power and
Natural Gas sectors
Knowledge of and/or high interest in electric power and natural gas industries ideally with a
focus on countries in Latin America; in addition specific expertise in transmission and
distribution and/or digital
Strong problem-solving skills and conceptual abilities with an analytical mindset
Excellent business acumen and understanding of the main business, economic and financial
concepts and terminology
Abilities in collection, analysis and synthesis of information and knowledge
Excellent communication skills in English and Spanish. Knowledge of Portuguese, Italian or
other languages is valued
Strong multitasking abilities, service-oriented personality, intellectual curiosity and an
investigative mind
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

Who You'll Work With
You will work from our Madrid office and be part of our global Electric Power and Natural Gas
Practice which advises top management of leading energy provider companies worldwide.
You will be part of our global Client Capabilities Network, which includes more than 2,600
colleagues, who bring a wide spectrum of knowledge, insights and further distinct capabilities to
our clients. You will work as a core part of this group to help develop, codify, sanitize, and
manage our global knowledge with dedicated focus on the electricity and mid- and downstream gas
markets especially in Latin America but also across Europe and other regions as part of a global
team.
What You'll Do
You will leverage a solid understanding of business trends, issues, and concepts to efficiently
respond to complex research questions by delivering synthesized, actionable facts and insights to
our consulting teams and clients.
In this role you will work alongside senior knowledge professionals on larger client projects and
internal knowledge initiatives. By collecting and analyzing data and information found in databases
and/or other primary and secondary research tools, you will assemble a fact base and counsel
consultants and clients on the scope of business, economic and technical trends around the
electricity sector with a focus on transmission, distribution and digitalisation. Your geographical
focus will be on countries in Latin America and Iberia. You will also provide insights and analysis
for solving client problems at hand. You will work towards enhancing the Practice's current
awareness of developments in the energy sector and acting increasingly as a thought partner in
(client) team discussions.
Your day-to-day tasks will include identifying the key issues being studied and determining the
most appropriate solution while effectively balancing quality, availability, timeliness, and cost
factors. You'll perform a variety of analyses such as benchmarking, trend identification, industry
profiling, market sizing, growth projections, opportunity scanning, etc., in order to add value to
problem-solving discussions.
You'll provide synthesis, insight and client implications within tight deadlines via end products
in the form of PowerPoint charts, written memos, models and frameworks. In time, you will also
participate in, and eventually lead, internal knowledge development and capability-building
initiatives and you'll use advanced analytics tools to prepare and analyze large datasets to
distill insights.
