The candidate will join Enterprise Data Analytics & Architecture (EDAA) within Group Operations (GO) in the role of Data Management Engineer focusing on master data management projects involving the implementation of solutions based on EBX and the Zurich Data Management Platform
As aData Management Engineeryour main responsibilities will involve
Drive the implementation of master & reference data on the Tibco Orchestra EBX platform on concrete customer projects
Implement java customizations as needed on the EBX platform to both support user requirements
Drive the design & implementation of data integration solutions that enable exchanging information between EBX and various SAP systems such as R3, BW3 and SCP on SAC
Support business engagement on data management initiatives shaping the details of the proposition and approach
Contribute to overall data management capability development, spanning various topics like data modelling, metadata management, data standardization and master & reference data management
Your Skills and Experience
As aData Management Engineer your skills and qualifications will ideally include:
University level education, e.g Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Engineering Discipline
5+ years of experience in data related department
5+ years of experience with data management initiatives, such as data quality or master & reference data management or alternatively strong data-related software engineering experience
Experience in broader data management topics (standardization, metadata management, modelling, master & reference data management) and analytical capability
High degree of customer focus
High proficiency in English & Spanish as a nice to have
Enterprise & Solution Architecture expertise
Excellent Java implementation expertise
Data architecture, meta-data management, logical / physical data models, and relationship concepts
Good understanding of change management processes, challenges and methodologies
Ability to translate business (solution) requirements into technical solutions (data models)
Has excellent communication skills, both written and oral, able to interact with different management levels
Distinct analytical working attitude
