We are seeking a communications manager to join our Digital Delivery Center. You will be part of the Design Studio, a global team responsible for creating new experiences for our Customers and internal stakeholders with our digital products. You will also be part of the team responsible for building new digital capabilities and ensuring that that Zurich transforms in to a customer-centric organization.
In this role, you will be responsible for driving the communications plan, editorial strategy and oversee all content on Zurich's global digital transformation platform known as "Suite of Services". You will work with many internal teams and external agencies to produce various content such as knowledge articles, blogs, infographics, case studies, training materials, webinars, etc.
As Digital Communications Manageryour main responsibilities will involve:
Define content strategy and storylines for various sites related to Digital Solutions (a combination of knowledge management, re-usable digital assets, catalogue of digital services and a technology platform).
Oversee end-to-end the content strategy and editorial line.
Write articles, blog posts, newsletters and social media posts when required.
Develop a flexible content strategy that supports the program goals.
Manage and deliver content for various websites, as part of the definition of Customer's Experiences with our Zurich sites, and ensure key messages are part of the overall designs.
Define, coordinate and execute content management plans.
Create compelling editorial content for Zurich internal digital magazine, webinars, internal social media channels and blogs.
Convert internal (sometimes technical) documents and presentation into captivating articles for targeted audiences (e.g. Marketing, CX, IT, Operations, etc).
Oversee work of external copywriters and content agencies - e.g. proof reading and adjusting the content to match our style.
Coordinate with design teams and external agencies to create visual and interactive media (e.g. infographics, videos, etc).
Work with senior leadership to create unique stories and content (e.g. for their own personal blogs).
Keep projects and communication plans on schedule without compromising quality.
Ensure content consistency across all channels.
Your Skills and Experience
As a Digital Communications Manager your skills and qualifications will ideally include:
Communications degree with strong writing and verbal skills in English
4-6 years of experience as online Magazine Editor, Digital Content Manager or similar role.
Previous experience as journalist and/or content editor
Writing for tech or digital marketing journals, blogs or magazines is a big advantage
Ability to grasp complex technical and digital concepts (e.g. Cloud, DevOps, IT Architecture, etc)
Experience using writing style guides (e.g. Economist guide is preferred)
Project management / stakeholder management
Knowledge of insurance industry / insurtechs is a plus
Results & detail oriented
Good research and analysis skills
Agile and project management experience
Proficient in English (Native level preferred)
German and Spanish are a plus
Basic Knowledge on CMS' is a plus (Wordpress, Sitecore, etc.)
