Zurich Spanish BU is launching the digital business and is therefore looking to put a dynamic and innovative team of insurance and technology experts together.
The goal is to offer to the Spanish clients a complete digital insurance experience.
The initiative will operate with a very lean hierarchy and fast decision processes and will offer candidates a unique chance to be part of a highly innovative journey.
As the Finance Controller you will be responsible for all planning, controlling and financial analytics matters related to the initiative. In your role you will work very closely with all business stakeholders as well as the initiative's management team where you have the chance to shape the initiative's financial analytics framework right from the beginning.
Your role will include:
As a Finance Controller your main responsibilities will involve:
Support in all financial and controlling subjects
Preparation of analytics reports for stakeholders (e.g. CEO and BoD)
Monthly analysis of financial figures
Enhance the finance and controlling framework
Planning, budget and expense management incl. accural management and control.
Your Skills and Experience
Your skills and experience will ideally include:
+2-3 years experience in accounting and / or controlling in insurance companies, preferably non-life insurance companies
Strong analytical skills
Some accounting knowledge (local GAAP / IFRS)
Good knowledge of systems (e.g. SAP, FSCD but also other accounting SW)
Good Microsoft Office Excel /Access and PowerPoint skills
Excellent English skills
