Environmental and Energy Management Specialist
To define and implement actions to ensure continuous improvement in environmental performance (Carbon Footprint, Circular Economy, Water, Waste, and Air emission management) and Energy Management in the plant (energy efficiency and project value proposition), in compliance with relevant legislation and corporate requirements.
Main Functions :
Identify and introduce innovative methods, practices, and technical solutions to improve energy efficiency and reduce environmental impacts.
Monitor and analyze environmental and energy performances, costs, and generate reports such as Environmental Reports and Energy Reviews.
Identify applicable legislation and define actions to ensure compliance.
Disseminate information regarding environmental and energy requirements to ensure accountability throughout the organization.
Implement E2MS at the local level.
Manage environmental incidents, support risk management, and participate in compliance and auditing activities.
Support the implementation of methods and tools to promote continuous improvement activities in E2MS.
Collect data and information to contribute to reporting activities.
Seek and introduce innovative practices and solutions to minimize environmental impacts.
Qualifications :
Courses or certificates in Environmental Management are preferred.
Minimum of 2 years experience in Environmental Management within industrial plants, including system implementation, projects, and reporting.
Knowledge of ISO 14001 and 50001 standards.
Knowledge of SDR, DAE, and DARI; familiarity with SCRAP is desirable.
Proficiency in analysis and reporting tools, especially Excel.
Fluency in English.
Strong coordination, autonomous working, communication, organizational, and precise working skills.
