We're seeking an experienced Chief Flight Instructor (CFI) to lead our Flight Training Organization (FTO) and uphold the highest standards of aviation instruction. This is your chance to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of pilot training while ensuring compliance with global regulations and CAE's renowned quality standards.Job Summary Represent the Head of Training in enacting instructor standardization policies.Conduct spot checks and promote compliance and safety culture in collaboration with the Safety Action Group.Align instructor development with global CAE policies and ensure adherence to NAA standards.Key Responsibilities Standardization & Compliance Lead the FTO's standardization plan, ensuring all flight and simulator instruction complies with CAE policies and global aviation authority (NAA) regulations (e.G., EASA, UK CAA, Qatar Civil Aviation Authority).Develop and enforce standardization policies in collaboration with the Head of Training (HoT).Act as a key liaison between operations, training managers, and global FTO networks to ensure alignment on training quality and compliance.Instructor Training & Development Oversee the design, quality, and compliance of instructor training programs, including initial, recurrent, and remedial training.Collaborate with the Training Design team to ensure all instructor training materials meet regulatory and CAE standards.Drive continuous improvement in instructor training through innovative courseware and training techniques.Recruitment & Performance Management Define and implement recruitment processes to attract the best instructor talent with technical and non-technical expertise.Monitor instructor performance to ensure delivery of training to the highest standards, conducting on-site evaluations and targeted retraining as needed.Promote a strong culture of safety, quality, and compliance across the instructor team.Qualifications Education & Licenses Hold a valid EASA & UK CAA ATPL license with associated ratings or certificates issued under Part-FCL.Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualifications preferred.Skills & Experience Minimum flight hours as per EASA, UK, and Qatar NAA regulations and CAE requirements.Extensive experience training Ab Initio cadets for professional pilot licenses, including Multi-Crew Cooperation (MCC).Certification as an EASA FCL FE or UK CAA FCL FE; other NAA approvals area plus.At least 3 years of experience managing instructor training at an Approved Training Organization (ATO).Proven experience interacting with regulatory authorities and managing compliance in an aviation training environment.Job Location This position can be based anywhere in Europe.Why Join Us?
