Are you ready to transform the goods transportation sector?
We are looking for a Fleet Capacity Manager, who can develop relationships with medium to large road transport operators (fleets) in Spain, by understanding their business and establishing a common path of growth with Ontruck. The role will mostly involve acquiring, nurturing and negotiating supply capacity and it will be instrumental to Ontruck's growth, building the Supply side of the marketplace.
Acquiring new supply capacity by focusing on medium-large fleets, through proactive outbound reach and / or by closing new accounts previously qualified by inbound supply analysts
Developing relationships with key hauliers, and deploying the most appropriate partnership model to drive growth together
Managing a portfolio of carrier accounts and ensuring that service levels exceed expectations
Negotiating capacity with the carriers in the portfolio and ensuring that the capacity is being effectively utilized
Building capacity plans to meet demand targets
Looking for opportunities to increase our supply base in the most effective and efficient way
Collaborating cross-functionally with Marketing, Product and Finance, to shape and evolve our offering for this segment of the market (value proposition, product features, financial terms, etc.)
Maintaining and updating the carrier database to Ontruck's operating standards
Skills and requirements
University Degree, preferable but not necessary
Experience in the Road Transport industry, preferably in acquiring or managing supply capacity
Experience with the medium-large fleets segment (e.g. either acquiring transport capacity or selling products / services)
2-5 years experience in Commercial or capacity management roles
High energy, hands-on attitude
Proficient in Spanish and English
Dynamic, able to thrive in a fast paced environment
