OW, a controlled 50/50 joint venture between EDP and Engie, is looking for a problem-solving and communicative FP&A Associate.Are you willing to join a passionate and high-performing team in a cross-cultural, fast-paced, and strongly growing environment?GENERAL DESCRIPTIONParticipation in the development and execution of OW's business planning and forecasting processes, and for financial and operational reporting to internal and external entities.MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIESCoordinates the portfolio's business planning process (including P&L, CF, BS, and operational KPIs).Challenges the AssetCos and ProjectCos forecasts.Prepares OW's consolidated annual business plan/budget and monthly reforecasts.Analysis:Monitors and challenges performance across the portfolio (by AssetCo, by nature, by function, ratios, look-back, etc.
).Follows projects' schedules, development costs, and capital expenditure.Maintains a consolidated view of the portfolio's P&L, Cash Flow, BS, and main KPIs.Ensures efficient cash management across the portfolio, monitoring expenditure and cash needs, optimizing cash pooling and cash upstream/downstream between Projects and Shareholders.Coordinates the reporting process across the portfolio, including the definition of the information requirements.Prepares reports for management, shareholders, and other internal or external stakeholders (such as lenders and investors).Tools:Develops and maintains the tools for efficient planning and control activity.Supports the implementation and governance of the financial information systems.Other:Supports performance improvement initiatives and other types of projects.Supports other areas within the Finance function as well as functions outside Finance as required.ACADEMIC BACKGROUNDDegree in Business Administration, Economics, or related field.LANGUAGESProficient in Spanish & English is a must.PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCEExperience in developing financial models in Excel (P&L, CF, and BS).
Up to 5 years of experience in FP&A; Financial Advisory Services; Investment Analysis; Consulting or similar.
Experience in the energy sector is a plus.KNOWLEDGEAdvanced knowledge in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
Experience in ERPs (e.g., SAP FI/CO) and Management Control Systems (e.g., SAP BPC) is a plus.SKILLSStrong analytical skillsStrong written and oral communication skillsMOBILITYJob location will be in Madrid.
