Our opportunity
Investment Administration & Accounting (IAA) is a global service unit responsible for investment back office and accounting within the Zurich Group. We deliver to around 30 countries through a regional SLA based, shared service operating model with three dedicated client facing Centers of Excellence in 3 continents. With our 140 team members, we provide accounting & reporting service for local GAAP, Stat, Tax and Group IFRS - covering approximately 90% of Group's Own Assets. We endeavor to implement globally consistent accounting and operational procedures, provide quality services to investment management and finance teams, generate operating efficiencies, as well as develop an agile organization.
The Front Office Specialist is responsible to act as the System Administrator and Subject Matter Expert for the Bloomberg AIM (Front Office System). This includes the performance of the daily operational tasks to ensure fully operational availability of Bloomberg AIM according to globally defined standard and processes. Furthermore, she/he is responsible to support the problem solving processes by managing the information flow between the customer and Bloomberg.
Your role

As a Front Office Specialistyour mainresponsibilities will involve
Act as system owner and primary contact between Zurich and Bloomberg
Collaborate with projects, internal initiatives and country specific customer demands by providing know how and expertise covering financial topics as a subject matter expert and business analyst

Support the review of all monitoring & check processes to ensure a stable quality regarding system availability and data quality

Process all data queries (including change request an enhancements) raised by end users and counterparties in a timely manner

Maintenance of users, accounts (portfolios), Broker, transactions costs, benchmark and other static and market data in Bloomberg AIM

Set up customization of the Front Office System and the coordination with SAP FSCM and other downstream systems to support and enable straight through processing.

Monitor and manage upgrades and enhancements within Bloomberg AIM enabling proper impact assessment on implemented workflow and processes.

Lead regular meetings with users and other stakeholders to ensure collaboration by sharing of knowledge and discussion of issues.

Maintain and enhance regional instrument know how also being able to analyze different scenarios regarding new instrument requirements (in the project as well as the daily business context) to ensure offered services are meeting the client requirements.

Conduct all controls defined in the Zurich governance & control framework to ensure data quality and risk compliance.

Your Skills and Experience

As aFront Office Specialistyour skills and qualifications will ideally include:
Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, Economics or Business Management

3-5 years' of experience in the related field

Solid knowledge of the Investment Management including traditional and not traditional instrument

Good business analysis skills with the ability to generate detailed business requirements

Solid knowledge of Investment Management data and interfaces and communication between front, middle and back office systems

Data analysis skills with experience from data mapping and integration

Be a good team worker as well as being self-driven and able to work and manage smaller project in isolation with minimal guidance and support

Good knowledge of financial mathematics

Good understanding of service and data management concepts

Client focus mindset

Communication, negotiation and presentation skills on good level

Fluent English in written and oral
