Essential Responsibilities

In close co-operation with suppliers and internal LM stakeholders both globally and regionally you will use your influencing skills to achieve correct pricing, lead time and allocation adherence
You will manage the forecasting process to external stakeholders as well as well as the supply/demand balance for the reinforcement commodity globally in order to facilitate correct tactical execution
More specifically you will perform supplier forecasting, assessments and data gathering for the quarterly business reviews with key strategic suppliers and follow up on particular KPI issues as well as cost and quality topics beyond KPIs
You will co-ordinate and negotiate with global and local teams to implement tactical sourcing decisions (regarding volume allocation, forward buying etc) in alignment with the director reinforcement and other management team stakeholders
Finally, you will drive the validation and approval process for new suppliers, materials and machines
You will support in implementing new innovative business models to supply glass products locally, incl. logistics solutions, tools/techniques and processes
You will be based in one of our plants in Spain, either Castellon or Ponferrada
Role Summary/Purpose
In the role as global sourcing specialist your primary responsibility is to support the development execution of negotiated strategies and business models to ensure cost effective supply and availability of reinforcement materials globally.
Qualifications/Requirements
We expect that you have a university degree, either within a commercial or technical area or equivalent knowledge or experience
You have relevant experience in managing similar products from an international company, and you have experience working in projects across countries/regions
It will be an advantage if you are CPSM certified
Preferably, you have knowledge about ERP system Axapta and olap cube proficiency
It is a requirement that you are fluent in English, both written and spoken

If contracted in Spain:
