Bupa Villages and Aged Care (BVAC) Australia is looking for a Head of Corporate Affairs, with outstanding leadership skills and ability to work collaboratively. You will be responsible for creating, coordinating and leading integrated communications and stakeholder relations strategies that help promote and protect BVAC’s reputation as a leader in aged care services. This role involves both internal and external communications. Responsibilities include: Contribute to the delivery of Bupa’s wider Corporate Affairs agenda by direct contribution, and the provision of support, to the delivery of agreed business priorities, strategic objectives and critical projects Play a leading role on supporting BVAC in Australia to deal with challenges to Bupa’s corporate reputation Provide strategic corporate affairs advice to senior management, project teams and employees across the business Produce comprehensive internal and external communications plans in support of the execution of strategic business objectives Devise and execute strategies to inform, engage and inspire Bupa's 9000+ BVAC employees across Australia to drive improved outcomes Demonstrate thought leadership and execute public campaigns that deliver increased awareness, positioning Bupa as a leader in aged care service Act as a BVAC spokesperson as/where required. What we’re looking for: Experience in a multi-national company with exposure to team leadership and matrix organisational structures Experience of working successfully within a fast-moving and ‘issues rich’ environment Sound strategic thinking and judgement and strong attention to detail Agility when dealing with issues management - via appropriate approval process - inspiring confidence internally Proven abilities at building effective stakeholder relationships both internally and externally Breadth in corporate affairs/communications Advanced written and verbal skills Excellent organisation, negotiation and relationship building skills You’ll be challenged and encouraged to innovate.
