We're looking for a candidate to fill this position in an exciting company. Manage the effective delivery of all the project deliverables using approved Project management techniques such as risk/issue management, budget management, Gantt charts, critical path analysis, scenario planning, contingency planning, work/cost breakdown, effective reporting. Manage and control the project budget ranging from 20K to multiple millions. Take assigned business focused projects from original concept through to final implementation. Work with the Head of Projects to understand and implement TMHCC International’s project concepts, objectives and approach to business change projects. Create and maintain project plans, estimating timelines, establishing deadlines, monitoring milestone completion, tracking all phases of the project, providing timely reporting of issues that may impact progress of the project, coordinating actions and resolving conflicts. Project management of work being completed by outsourcing or offshoring partner. Conduct surveys periodically to gauge and track the business customer satisfaction Support the CIO and IT Leadership team evaluate IT project objectives and analyses new business initiatives impacting IT. Support the CIO and IT Leadership team to ensure that IT strategies are aligned with the overall business strategy as well as complementing the department/Lines of Business objectives. University degree and/or postgraduate studies: Computer Science / Business Administration / Change Management / Information Technology. At least 7 years’ working experience, preferably in the finance industry (insurance, reinsurance, bank), in an international environment. Experience of the Financial Services industry. Proven Project Management experience including managing: all phases of development: analysis, design, build, testing, implementation and hand over to support. Excellent stakeholder management skills with an emphasis on building and maintaining long term relationships with the Heads of the various TME business departments/Lines of Business. Experienced in following a formal Systems Development Life Cycle, with entry/exit criteria, quality checkpoints and governance. Experienced in following formal change, risk and issue management. Proven experience of matrix management of Teams of 6 to 30 people with different skills and experience: analysts, developers, testers, support roles, various non-IT contributors. Experience with outsourcing / offshoring projects and support through effective collaboration with 3rd parties, including offshore and outsourcing partners. Proven experience of taking learnings from post implementation reviews for Projects, applying these learnings to future projects and measuring the improvement. Proven experience of operating effectively with senior management is essential. A strong delivery focus, with a good understanding of business priorities and the ability to make strategic decisions. The ability to produce high quality plans, and to ensure delivery against these plans, often to tight deadlines. Interpersonal skills with good communication and motivation skills. The ability to organise and delegate effectively. Willingness to work across co-locations as deemed necessary to deliver projects/support the business and IT. A flexible approach is essential and the ability to prioritise effectively as work volumes will fluctuate. Fluent in English & Spanish – Speaking and writing. French or German desirable. Experience of the Specialty and Lloyd’s/Companies market insurance industry. The ability to drill down and break complex project problems down into progressively smaller pieces to then provide the appropriate guidance to the project team as well as the senior management team and sponsor(s) to quickly resolve issues. The ability to take assigned business focused projects from original concept through to final implementation. Experience of formal resource planning. Experience of coaching teams to top performance. Good team player with a style of working and decision making based on the collective goal of the organisation.
