Job Title: ITS Architect - SHIFT Testing
Scope: Worldwide, all businesses
Supervisor: ITS Architect - SHIFT Technical Architecture Lead


Sanofi is globally deploying its new back-office cross-functional system processes - covering Finance, SBS, Supply Chain and Trade across all GBUs - through the implementation of a Global ERP (SHIFT project) using SAP S4/HANA technology. This Transformation program aims at:
Enabling Global Business Units (GBU) & Global Functions with AnalyticsCommon analytics by GBU and for Global functions to improve performance and cost management
Transversal data consolidation as well as more granular analyses
Common budget tools by GBU

Facilitating a seamless integration of planning and actual data setting-up automation in reporting to enable Global Shared Services (SBS)Support SBS strategy by implementing an end-to-end approach (e.g. P2P fully covered by integrated Group solutions from eBuy to AP Invoicing, T&E, etc.)
Opportunity to consolidate new activities in Shared Services (e.g. Master Data Management, Credit Management) and to develop global Shared Services organization models (e.g. T&E)
Support reporting factories

Simplifying processes and Sanofi users' experienceState-of-the-art global systems ensuring an end-to-end process integration while providing a simplified user's experience
Major changes to reporting or processes handled centrally at once
One source of truth on master data and a common automated internal control framework
Improved integration or divestment capabilities through a standardized methodology


The ITS Architect - SHIFT Testing is responsible organizing and controlling the testing process. He/she should ensure visibility, traceability, and control of testing process to deliver high-quality software.
He/she will review/adapt the testing strategy with various stakeholders including ITS functional and deployments teams to ensure relevance and add-value of the approach.
He/she will ensure testing methodology is covering different testing phases (FUT, PT, SIT, UAT, RT) and is supported by tools and SOP's.
He/she will ensure alignment and consistency of the testing approach with tooling capabilities and usage.
He/she will consult with team experts, implementation partner(s) and software provider(s) to bring external best practices inside our program.


In the context of the SHIFT program or any other Sanofi program such as TCM (Treasury Core Model) and Integrated ERP (iERP) based on SHIFT platform, the main duties of the ITS Architect - SHIFT Testing are:

Domain Management
Present verbal and written reports for the Domain defining action plans, issues and resolutions to appropriate levels of management
Ensure that risks and issues are identified, formalized & communicated to the Project Management
Organize work with implementation partner corresponding Domain lead; Follow-up on implementation partner resources On-/ Off-boarding and escalate on Quality issues
Ensure alignment with key stakeholders: program management, functional leads, deployment team
Ensure alignment with E2E lead and tools suite experts (Signavio, Solman, HP ALM)
Ensure Solution documentation & capitalization of knowledge; organize within team Knowledge transfer and Upskilling as required; provide inputs & proposals for documentation templates & deliverable formats evolutions

On "Platform oriented" integration activities
Build/review and own E2E testing methodology and tools
Ensure methodology evolution to integrate hybrid agile approach
Ensure full traceability and relationship consistency between objects: requirements, process, test scripts, test scenarios, RICEFW's, CRD's
Ensure communication and support on process and approach to project deployment teams and AMS
Build support documents, reports to enable autonomy of deployment team during SIT and UAT testing phases
Ensure consistency of defect management process supported by the tooling suite
With the support of the innovation lead, explore possible integration of Shift Left and Robotic testing practices to our testing approach
Setup appropriate governance with project management and functional lead to ensure testing approach continuous improvement

On "Solution oriented" integration activities
Support project managers and functional teams on adoption of testing methodology and tools
Aligned with quality on testing deliverables feeding entry/exit criteria on different project phases
Support project manager on building testing campaigns based on existing assets
Support project teams on defect management process usage


Educational Background
Post-graduate studies (4/5 years): Master in IT or Engineering

Professional Experience
Demonstrated experience in managing test and QA functions for large, complex, integrated software systems
Demonstrated experience in leading agile, software development test efforts
Minimum 3 years of Test Lead experience
Experience developing structured test plans and detailed test cases through analysis of complex business and technical requirements and high-level design deliverables
Experience with Structured Test Planning, QA Tracking software and Test automation
Experience and working knowledge in SAP lifecycle projects
Experience of projects in complex and international environment
Ideally, knowledgeable on SAP Solution manager testing module and HP ALM testing suite
At ease with Microsoft Office tools, and in general with IS tools
