JOB PURPOSE:
Digital transformation, business processes simplification and harmonization are key pillars of Sanofi's strategy. To reach those ambitions and boost our industrial excellence, the company decided to leverage the value of our current SAP Athena and to prepare the future by launching an ambitious ERP program based on the new S4HANA technology.
In this context, Sanofi is looking for new talents to design, build and support the manufacturing processes for its future ERP solution.
In close collaboration with Business Process Owners and other ITS Business & Process Analysts, the Manufacturing Business Analyst leads the right usage of Sanofi ITS & Industrial standards for his domain.

The scope is covering the ERP Planning and Scheduling processes (SAP Athena, then the future S4HANA) with the connected systems:
Back-office ERP.
Global supply chain tools (SCCORE program).
Reporting and Analytics platforms.

CONTEXT AND CHALLENGES:
Sanofi strategic direction is currently to standardize processes and to embrace the digital transformation of Industrial Affairs perimeter, looking at the opportunity to simplify its current solution landscape, to harmonize and boost the business processes and to prepare the move from SAP ECC to S4Hana.

This represents a strategic opportunity for an IA Transformation to:
Design standardized end-to-end processes to generate business value for Industrial Affairs and deliver best-in-class solutions to our industrial sites.
Deliver innovative "state of the art" tools enabling performance for industrial controlling processes across the industrial affair sites.
Maintain robust and highly available solutions to analyze industrial processes efficiently.

It encompasses the following business processes:
Master data management for his/her domain.
Planning and scheduling processes.
Articulation with back-offices, global supply chain tools (SCCORE program) and detailed scheduled tools.
Analytics capabilities for his/her domain.
Users authorizations.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Business Alignment:
Understand the business requirements for the various processes in his domain in order to build a solution applicable to multi-GBU use cases, while keeping a responsible approach in term of cost benefit evaluation and solution maintainability.

Solution ownership:
In charge of the functional and technical design of the solution on his domain, leveraging technology trends and benchmarks to bring performative and innovative solutions.
Collaborate with architects to review solution design and ensure compliance with Sanofi standards.
Responsible for the full lifecycle of the solution for his/her domain.
Communicate architecture and technical matters in an understandable way to various stakeholders, including business, to facilitate decision making.

Delivery Management and Quality of Services:
Ensure the respect of Cost, Planning and Quality of the solution delivery while ensuring customer satisfaction.
End-to-end business process analysis including integration with partner systems (ex: back-offices and consolidation systems).
Manage preventive/corrective maintenance for components.
Ensure that standards and recommendations linked to GxP & HSE regulations and segregation of duty (Sox) are correctly understood and applied.

People Management:
Coordinate, inform and ensure functional leader role in a matrixial context with internal resources and external partners.
Contribute to the transfer of know-how, experience and best practices within his/her domain and beyond.

Terms of Employment:
Based in Barcelona, this job requires to collaborate in a global and matrixial environment with international business and ITS teams.
English is the usual working language.
This job requires periodic business trips to ITS or industrial locations.
This job requires to work within structured environments with formal procedures and documented deliverables, compliance rules and reporting duties.

JOB-HOLDER ENTRY REQUIREMENTS:

Education:
Graduated from Engineering school or Business school.
Master degree or equivalent.

Experience & knowledge:
3 to 10+ years work experience including 1 to 3+ years as solution designer.
Successful and significant Project Management experience.
Proven leadership skills.
Demonstrated experience in a Global environment.
Broad knowledge and experience of planning processes in industrial plants (life science/pharmaceutical industries would be a plus).
Significant SAP experience supporting industrial planning and scheduling processes, ideally in a S4HANA context (PP-DS).
Experience with detailed scheduling tools (ex: APO, ORTEMS, Kinaxis).
Proven vision, ability to anticipate evolutions due to internal and external factors.
Communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
Conflict resolution and problem solving.

Core competencies:
Planning business processes and relevant SAP solution (MM, PP, PP-DS, S4HANA, Fiori, SAP Cloud/Leonardo, analytics tools).
Project management skills.
