With our commitment to a sustainable future, a career with Kerry is something you can feel good about.About the roleThe Pet Account Manager is anewly created position and will be responsible for developing various Kerry technologies by interacting with R& D, Procurement, and Marketing and working with pet food manufacturers in order to develop the Western European Markets. Location with this role is flexible due to travel requirements and can be based in any location in Western Europe.Key responsibilitiesCustomer Relationships:Establish Kerry as a long-term supplier at national accounts by developing, maintaining and expanding strong customer working relationships at multiple levels and functions. Utilize both direct contact and relevant trade organization events to build relationships.Sales Budget: Participate in development of annual sales budget targets for assigned accounts and takes appropriate actions to achieve targets.Account Maintenance: Ensure that appropriate resources and actions are recommended to address customer-based issues including competitive threats, product and service complaints and sales erosion.Sales Growth: Pursue and support long-term divisional growth through the development of overall strategies for assigned accounts. Identify and recommend new technologies and new market opportunities related to customer base Project Management: Develop project opportunities and ensure communication flow between customers and relevant cross-functional areas. Qualifications and skillsUniversity degree in Life Sciences 8+ years experience in a similar roleProven experience in technical sales to the Pet Food IndustryExperience at the pet food plant level (production and formulation) strongly preferredStrong computer, written and verbal communication skills. Fluency in English. Second langauge desirable but not essential.Requires a minimum of 50% travel throughout EuropeWilling and able to travel by car and plane
