Thank you.The Senior Continuous Improvement Specialist, as an integral part of the 1Kerry Plant Transformation Deployment Team, will partner closely with the Change Agent, Plant Leadership Team, Plant Teams, Functional SME’s and our external partner to ensure the successful implementation of the 1Kerry Plant Transformation Programme.Upon successful implementation of the 1Kerry Plant Transformation Programme, the Senior Continuous Improvement Specialist will set and manage the execution of the overall continuous improvement strategy, ensuring long term sustainability of the results achieved whilst preserving the overall operating model.Key responsibilitiesWork collaboratively with the site Change Agent, 1Kerry Plant Transformation Deployment Team, Functional SME’s, Plant Leadership Team and our external partner in the diagnostics, future state design work and implementation of the 1Kerry Plant Programme.Responsible for ensuring that there are robust delivery plans in place throughout all stages of the 1Kerry Plant Programme – diagnostics, future state design work and implementation.Assist in the diagnostic analysis and assessment of current state performance.Define the initiatives required to achieve the future state target across the Operating, Management & People Systems.Create implementation plans to support on time delivery of these initiativesDuring the implementation phase execute the delivery plans, monitor and update progressAct as an ambassador for change and educating colleagues in the ultimate vision for the plant and wider business.Act as a key mentor, influencer and supporter to the Plant Leadership Team.Facilitate the training and education of the wider team in the principles, philosophies and tools of continuous improvement.Ensure each plant is using a standardised set of key performance indicators (KPI’s) as per the 1Kerry Plant Management System standardsEnsure Global standards for Continuous Improvement tools are implemented in the rollout of the CI strategy.Support day-to-day prioritisation, decision making and escalation.Review and manage risks and remove blockages, in conjunction with the Plant Leadership Team, that might impact delivery.Qualifications and skillsRelevant degree or equivalent qualification 5+ years’ experience within a similar environmentYou’ll be an experienced Senior Continuous Professional, confident in the principles, philosophies and tools of continuous improvement.Proven project management experience with practical knowledge of PM tools and techniques to support delivery.Strong financial acumen and grasp on how to translate operational improvements into financial impact.Be rigorous, action and results oriented as well as open-minded and imaginative for change.Demonstrable track record of influencing and coaching site management teams on the need for change.Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work in a team environment.Ability to identify and communicate effectively with key delivery stakeholder across the business.Ability to collaborate across different departments and functions to leverage their expertise.Strong coach and people developer, keen to improve the skillsets and capabilities of teams and plant leaders.Confident in running training sessions at various levels within the businessHave a natural ability to challenge the status quo asking challenging questions where appropriate.Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.Have a working knowledge of lean principles and a vision for continuous sustainable improvement.
