POSITION SUMMARY
The Manager, Chapter Launch is responsible for launching new chapters for EO within Europe and MEPA regions in line with the strategy of the Chapter Launch global team. The incumbent will coordinate regional & global staff and member leaders to execute new chapter launches for their regions and assist other Manager, Chapter Launches if necessary.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Serves as the point person to manage, monitor and report out on progress on launches on a weekly basis.
Evaluates suitability of potential champions with member leaders involved.
Manages application process for At Large applicants and prospects.
Collects best practices and looks for ways to fine tune the process and share with other members of the Chapter Launch team.
Utilizes network to recruit prospects and launch champions in cities identified in global growth strategy through variety of sources (online, local publications, embassies, chambers of commerce).
Promotes EO benefits to members before chapter launch go live by leveraging global resources.
Conducts weekly calls with members on task force regarding the status of launches and action items.
Transitions management of the chapter to regional staff within agreed upon time frame.
Manages logistics for various launch events assigned to build awareness and interest in membership.
Performs other duties as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED
Bachelor's degree in Business or Marketing preferred.
Minimum 3 years' recruitment experience in a membership organization.
Minimum 3 years' event and logistics management experience.
Experience launching chapters successfully within a membership association.
Must be fluent in English.
Ability and willingness to travel 40% of the time.
Ability to interact with entrepreneurs with tact diplomacy and poise.
Promote quality through continuous performance improvement.
The use of good judgment and good interpersonal communication skills.
Well-developed analytical and problem solving skills.
Works harmoniously and effectively with others as part of a team.
A self-starter who desires to show ownership and commitment to the job.
