Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Murex Accounting Module Specialist to join our team on a contractual basis.
The ideal candidate will have substantial experience working with the Murex platform, specifically within the accounting module.
This role involves ensuring accurate accounting processes, supporting financial reporting, and enhancing the overall functionality of the Murex Accounting Module.
Key Responsibilities:
- Configure and maintain the Murex Accounting Module to meet business requirements.
- Collaborate with finance and operational teams to ensure alignment of accounting processes.
- Develop and implement accounting rules, including trade and simulation rules.
- Conduct thorough testing of accounting functionalities to ensure data accuracy and compliance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the Accounting Module as they arise.
- Assist in the integration of the Accounting Module with other Murex functionalities and external systems.
- Provide training and support to users of the Murex Accounting Module.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and regulatory changes impacting accounting processes.
Key Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience working with the Murex platform, particularly the Accounting Module.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Experience with configuration, customization, and troubleshooting in Murex.
- Knowledge of relevant accounting schemas and migration methodologies.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with finance, operations, and technical teams.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in a financial services or investment banking environment.
- Familiarity with additional Murex modules (e.g., Risk, Collateral) is a plus.
- Relevant certifications in accounting or finance (e.g., CPA, CFA) are an advantage.
