Job OverviewInternet service provider in North Goa requires IT Technician, with experience in Fiber Optic Network management & FTTH, configuring & troubleshooting basic networking hardware & equipment.Job ResponsibilitiesExperience in Fiber Optic Network management & FTTH.Configuring & troubleshooting basic networking hardware & equipment.Working with senior team to develop, maintain & upgrade the network including optimising redundancies.Operational excellence, responsible for ensuring maximum uptime.Optimising 10 G Network – Mapping, managing & maintaining.Managing an inventory of all networking hardware including switches, OLTs, MikroTik devices, SFPs etc.Responsible for joint management of the technical & operations teams, working closely with the Head of the company, bringing ideas, making business development recommendations & turning concepts into progressive technical strategies.Refining the business from an operational point of view.Providing input on how to build on an already successful product portfolio.Responding to customer call-outs – Troubleshooting & fixing technical issues – Ranging from Internet related issues to general IT issues.Knowledge in configuring & trouble-shooting computers, computer hardware & LAN networking hardware, including routers, access points & switches.Contributing to the technical set up & delivery of new bandwidth & supporting IT infrastructure.Technical development of the businesses to streamline processes including but not limited to: CRM platforms, Internet Service Management platforms & security.KPI's, reporting, adhering to SLAs.Developmental project delivery as per requirements of the business.Job RequirementsA high school degree and an associate or bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field.Previous experience of 2-3 year's.Knowledge in configuring & trouble-shooting computers, computer hardware & LAN networking hardware, including routers, access points & switches.Good knowledge of internet security and data privacy principles.Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skillsWorking Hours: 8.45 am – closing (or equivalent based on achieving objectives) Monday – Saturday.
