Samwise Media is looking for a Newsletter Strategist to grow, engage, and convert our smart shopper audience through high-performing newsletter campaigns.
You'll help us develop the strategy, execution, and optimization of our email content across several brands with a focus on driving sales and subscriber growth.
This is a data-driven, content-savvy role for someone who understands the intersection of storytelling, audience behavior, and performance marketing.
Responsibilities Build and manage a high-performing newsletter strategy focused on deals and shopper insightsPlan and execute email campaigns aligned with audience interests and business goalsAnalyze performance metrics like open rate, CTR, and conversion to identify optimization opportunitiesUse tools like Google Analytics and Looker Studio to track and report on campaign successDevelop content that drives readers toward sales conversions and promotional offersRun A / B tests on subject lines, content layout, and send times to boost performanceGrow the newsletter subscriber base through targeted acquisition tacticsSegment audiences for more personalized and relevant email contentMonitor list health, engagement trends, and unsubscribe behaviorCollaborate with sales and marketing teams to align content with revenue-driving campaignsTranslate performance insights into clear recommendations for future campaignsDesign, implement, and adapt newsletter strategies and advanced audience segmentation for multiple projects, ensuring highly personalized content that maximizes engagement and conversionsEnsure email marketing activities comply with data privacy laws and best practicesStay up-to-date with industry trends and propose innovative strategies to grow our subscriber base and boost engagementQualifications 2–3 years of experience in email marketing, audience strategy, or digital content growthStrong understanding of email KPIs including open rate, CTR, and conversion rateProficient in Google Analytics, Looker Studio, and other performance dashboardsDemonstrated success in growing and engaging newsletter audiencesExperience crafting content for conversion in consumer-focused digital mediaFamiliar with A / B testing and campaign experimentationComfortable working with sales funnels and aligning content to revenue goalsExcellent writing and editing skills, especially for email marketingHighly organized, data-oriented, and able to work independently in a remote environmentPowered by JazzHR
