For this reason, Nestlé R&D has developed a strategy to leverage digital to accelerate time to value, protect the core and unlock new opportunities, for example, by leveraging consumer insights to drive innovation and renovation.ResponsibilitiesAs a Technology Expert for R&D IT, you will:Evolve the architecture of the R&D IT applications reporting to the Strategic Product Portfolio Architect.Participate in the definition and setup of the processes required to ensure proper operability and scalability of all the operations related to the infrastructure.Work closely with development teams and suppliers to ensure the planned value is delivered optimally according to the product strategy.Manage corporate processes related to the infrastructure of the products to ensure compliance and quality.Identify & learn new technologies to optimize current solutions for sustainability.Engage with Product Managers across the product groups and the whole IT organization to ensure alignment with enterprise architecture and security requirements.Participate in identification and analysis of key industry and technology trends.Support the design and modeling of tactical architectures for special projects such as mergers, acquisitions, or divestitures.To achieve the above, you will collaborate deeply with R&D stakeholders, the R&D IT Product Manager in charge of different areas (e.G., Nutrition, Sustainability, Food Safety) and the R&D IT Portfolio Architect team for Data & Analytics related projects.What will make you successfulBachelor's degree in computer science, mathematics or physics, or equivalent experience.Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure Cloud; Amazon Web Services knowledge will be valuable.Microservices architecture and containerization (Docker, containers).Linux operating system knowledge; command line proficiency.Relational databases knowledge such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, including Azure provided services
