Our team of more than 5,000 talented employees, in 70+ subsidiaries worldwide, is constantly adapting to facilitate the transition to fully integrated systems for our clients through a network of secure, scalable, and ready-for-the-future platforms, so clients can focus on their core competencies of serving their customers and guests.Job DescriptionTo support our Shiji Sales team, we are looking for a Sales Manager that will be responsible for leading and developing the growth of Shiji solutions across the hospitality and tourism industry in the assigned market.
You will also focus on raising the profile of Shiji in the regions by working with partners and key industry stakeholders.The Sales Manager will be responsible for prospecting and calling upon independent hotels, small hotel groups, and other hospitality venues to position the solution's value proposition and convert the opportunity into a closed sale.
The Sales Manager will hunt for new business globally via telephone, email, and various social media channels to build a pipeline of opportunities.The candidate will have in-depth knowledge of business development and sales techniques, sales methodology, and a can-do attitude.
In cooperation with internal and external resources, he/she will review the markets and associated data, identify areas of focus, and develop targeted site lists.
In support of the sales business plan, they will identify and engage with the stakeholders of targeted properties and occasionally conduct demonstrations and present proposals that result in driving revenue.
This person will be based in Barcelona, fluent in Italian and English languages, and work closely with their peers, their Sales Leader & the broader Shiji team.Candidates must be motivated, proactive, and responsible individuals with:Excellent listening skills and note-taking skillsHigh level of organizational skills with the ability to work well under pressure and manage prospect/client expectations.Innovative problem-solving methods to help our customers grow their business.An ability to identify business opportunities and drive change.The curiosity to learn about our solutions, to educate our prospects/clients, but most importantly, to learn from them.ResponsibilitiesBusiness generation for the mentioned markets through lead generation and demo sessions with clients to demonstrate the power of our productsUpdate sales process and procedures documentation based upon lessons learnedInteract with all departments necessary within the organization to resolve client issues.Responding to client support emails and calls.Update all internal systems to properly track sales opportunities, engagement & customer contactsUpdate the CRM & Service Management systems with appropriate informationForge strong relationships with our prospects, customers, and industry partners.Protect & maximize revenue potential with all prospectsIdentify and report product and service enhancement requests.Input and update information on customer conversations and issuesComplete and achieve all other assigned goals in relation to the position.QualificationsFluent in written & spoken English & Italian is a 'must'Strong communication skills both verbal and written.Positive personality with a good learning attitude.Experience with IT technology or SaaS (Software as a Service) solutions preferably within the Hospitality industry.
