Job Description - SAP Release Manager (200000KE)SAP Release Manager - 200000KE Our opportunityThe role holder acts as internal SAP FI/CO consultant and is responsiblefor managing the release schedules for assigned solution portfolios. Inaddition, they will act as back up for the Change Manager. Your roleAs a Release Manageryour main responsibilities will involveEngaging closely with Change Managers, Platform Managers and ProjectManagers to prioritize deliveriesEngaging with SMEs and Bus to identify regression testingEngaging with interfacing applications to assess and mitigate theimplications of cross-application deliveries Coordinating the final physical delivery of the release packageCoordinating EHPs, System copies post activities, and Security patchingreleaseResponsibility for Regression Testing completion and functional testingcoordinationProviding technical and application guidance and support throughout therelease processProviding feedback on the effectiveness of the release and record metricsfor deployment to ensure compliance within agreed SLAsProviding Expert Advice on FICO configuration and transport conflictsResponsibility for appropriate release package acceptance includingbusiness sign offResponsibility for Expedite Change processResponsibility for deployment of Financial Applications releasesYour Skills and Experience As a Release Manager your skills and qualifications will ideally include:Higher education in IT and/or economicsExperience in SAP international implementations, with leadingcustomizing positionsExperience in SAP templates rollouts and process harmonizationAbility to find defect resolution for any problem identifiedStrong communication skills in written and spoken English Project management skillsEffective team player in a global companyTechnical Skills (Desirable)ALE,LSMW, cut over and migrations, SLO conversionsExperience in SAP technical upgrades Additional InformationPrimary work location is Barcelona. This position requires approximately 10% of travel.
