Are you looking to be part of a growing, high-tech team?We are seeking an experienced analog/mixed-signal IC engineer to join our CMOS image sensors design team in our office in Barcelona.IMASENIC is a high-tech, innovative semiconductor company based in Barcelona.We develop custom CMOS image sensors for customers in the scientific, bio-medical, industrial, and consumer markets, with customers in Europe, Asia, and America.You can be part of our team and help us expand our technology portfolio.What we offerCompetitive compensation and benefits.A friendly, dynamic, and technically-challenging work environment.The option to work mostly from home (in the Barcelona area).The opportunity to join a growing high-tech company and learn from our team of engineers, with decades of experience in IC design and CMOS image sensors.Your primary responsibilitiesLead and be responsible for the design and physical implementation of analog and mixed-signal integrated circuits for CMOS image sensors.Develop advanced pixel architectures.Define the best readout chain for each application.Be responsible for the verification and tape-out of CMOS image sensors.Guide the sensor characterization team to test the sensors your team has designed.Skills and education requirementsYou should have a Master's or Ph.D. degree in Electronics or Physics and have at least 4 years of professional experience designing CMOS image sensors.
We will also consider very strong candidates with professional analog IC design experience interested in pursuing a career in the field of CMOS image sensors.
You should have most of the following skills and experiences:Strong knowledge of pixel design, sensor architecture, and fabrication processes.Experience designing sensors with different pixel types (3T, 4T, global shutter, HDR, BSI, CDS…).Understanding of digital design, timing constraints concepts, and the P&R process.Experience simulating complex image sensors and other analog/mixed-signal IC systems.Hands-on experience with the layout of complex analog blocks in tight spaces and knowledge of dealing with parasitics.Four years of experience with design tools such as Synopsys Custom Compiler, Cadence Virtuoso, and Siemens (Mentor Graphics) Calibre.TCAD simulation experience for pixel optimization.Great attention to detail and the ability to add order to complex and undefined situations.Able to work independently and deliver quality work according to project schedules.Very good team player: take ownership of assigned tasks, seek help when required, and have an inclination to help others.Able to take and give constructive criticism.LocationIMASENIC premises in Pl.
