Based in Asturias, Spain, reporting to the Accounting Supervisor, the incumbent will be the primary finance contact for administration, statutory accounting, tax, and legal compliance.
The role involves connecting with businesses in several countries, the Business Service Center, and external stakeholders.
Responsibilities include overall accounting, reporting, compliance, and tax accounting for various entities, as well as liaising with local authorities as required.
The role maintains general ledgers, performs the complete accounting cycle in compliance with established practices and generally accepted accounting principles, and adheres to internal control policies and procedures.
The analyst analyzes data to provide meaningful information and supports management and financial decision-making.
The key responsibilities include : Collaborating with statutory reporting and BPO teams to ensure accurate and timely financial statements.Managing statutory audits, tax submissions, and regulatory requirements in partnership with relevant teams.Monitoring month-end closing activities and performance of outsourced services for improvements.Assisting with financial statement fluctuations review and account reconciliations.Ensuring compliance with internal controls and policies.Driving process improvements and internal control enhancements.Additional responsibilities may include leading projects, supporting regulatory compliance, and maintaining a strong control environment.
Skills & Competency Requirements : Degree in Finance or Accounting, Chartered Accountant or equivalent qualification.At least 3 years of accounting experience.Proficiency in SAP, MS Office (especially Excel).Knowledge of US / local GAAPs and experience with financial and tax filings.Ability to adapt to changes, connect processes, and pursue continuous improvement.Self-motivated and able to work independently.English proficiency; knowledge of other Asian languages is a plus.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence.Experience in multicultural, international environments is advantageous.We operate on a foundation of trust, transparency, and commitment to employee well-being.
Compensation includes a pay range of €36,640 to €57,250, with potential bonuses based on performance and business results.
