Job Description - Senior Director, Safety & PV (Technology Leadership) (20001677)Job Description Senior Director, Safety & PV (Technology Leadership) - (20001677) Description 20001677Senior Director, Safety & Pharmacovigilance (Technology Leadership)PermanentHome based anywhere in EMEASummary:Syneos Health Safety & PV is looking for a seasoned and pioneering, innovative leader to drive technology solutions into our Safety & PV services.With a number of PV business technology activities on our development roadmap to drive excellence and efficiency into our PV processes, the successful individual will have a track record of supporting PV-related technical innovations using their in-depth understanding of the global PV environment, a broad knowledge of the industry tools available and utilise that knowledge to drive exceptional solutions into our services. You will be a knowledgeable and motivated leader, becoming an integral part of the Safety & PV senior management team, working closely with the Safety & PV operational teams, assuming overall management and development of the existing Safety & PV Technology team supporting all safety database activities, and working closely with Syneos Health Business Technology colleagues to move Syneos Health Safety & PV into a position of real consideration in the industry. Qualifications The ideal candidate will need the following experience / skills to be considered:• BA/BS in the biological sciences or related disciplines in the natural science/health care field or nursing degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.• Clinical Research Organization (CRO) experience with therapeutic specialties preferred. • Working knowledge of financial budgets and various financial analysis tools preferred. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), Visio, email (Outlook), TeamShare (or other management/shared content/workspace), and internet.• Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills with strong graphic presentation skills. • Ability to establish effective relationships with clients as well as team members.• Ability to be flexible, adapt to change, work independently, as well as part of a team in a matrix environment.• Ability to make effective decisions and manage multiple priorities while delivering high quality work in a dynamic environment.We have a comprehensive benefits package and offer highly competitive remuneration.Join a game-changing company that is reinventing the way therapies are developed and commercialized.
