We are building a QA team that will be responsible for the quality and testing architecture of our Survey Systems applications. What will I be doing? Lead the changes to the processes we have to incorporate QA practices, in order to help us create the most advanced survey system in the world. Be a champion of the user. Aim for quality from the start, get involved during user story and acceptance criteria definition and design test scenarios upfront. Own the testing phase of our software development cycle working closely with our Product teams.Work closely with engineers to ensure quality and the right set of tests are being created. Develop testing automation that leads the development team to maximize testability of applications and efficiency. Triage test failures, verify and report bugs.Bring and share knowledge of testing methodology and tools, software testing standards, build systems and the product development lifecycle. Establish, track and report on Quality Metrics periodically.Help us realize the YouGov Strategy: "Best Panel - Best Data - Best Tools". QualificationsDemonstrated Knowledge and Experience:4+ years of experience working on QA engineering roles 2+ years of experience programming in Python or JavascriptExperience with Agile methodologies Complex architectures with multiple micro services and monolith applications, multiple backends.Technical Skills:Expertise in Test Design Strong debugging skills Experience with Gitlab CI/CD and Jira End-to-end (e2e) testing (Capybara, Cypress, Selenium, Robot Framework, PhantomJS) Knowledge of Behavior Driven Development (BDD): Jasmine, Behave, Cucumber.Accessibility and Usability testing (pa11y) Soft SkillsYou are interested on building QA practices in a fast growing organization and potentially leading a QA team.A drive to learn and master new technologies and skills.
