Description: With more than fifteen years of translation experience, McFelder Translations collaborates with some of the world’s largest companies offering a multitude of corporate translation services that cover all formats whether it be websites, multimedia, e-learning platforms as well as conference interpreting services. McFelder Translations is seeking a Translation Vendor Manager for our central office in Banyoles (Girona), Spain. The Vendor Manager is responsible for providing the company with translators, interpreters and other external service providers to fulfil client requests.
Essential Functions:• Design and implement internal processes to optimise vendor onboarding and utilisation• Collaborate with the Project Management and Commercial departments regarding procurement needs and available resources• Research industry standard pricing in order to provide up-to-date recommendations on pricing and resource capacities• Coordinate with the Quality Assurance department to develop and document process improvements that address customer complaints as related to procurement• Responsible for managing and ensuring high levels of quality and customer satisfaction• Responsible for the quality control of projects through the procurement of highly skilled linguists• Recruit, vet, test, and evaluate new external resources and ensure that the PM team utilises the highest quality, cost-effective vendors at all times• Assess and maintain data integrity of the vendor database• Develop innovative ways to find new vendors and ensure the full utilisation of vetted resources• Negotiate rates on an ongoing basis which will allow the company to reach its revenue goals• Liaise with clients and develop strong client relationships through excellent communication skills• Research new technologies that improve project margins, costs, quality and efficiency• Perform other tasks and cross-trains with other positions as assigned Requirements: Qualifications (demonstrated ability in the following):• Effective written and verbal communication skills• Negotiation skills• Problem solving skills• Strong attention to detail

Education and Experience Requirements:• Bachelor's degree• Previous experience working in vendor relations/vendor procurement, with evident progression in responsibilities• Previous experience analysing quantitative data and applying it to decision-making• Strong computer skills• Fluency in English is a requirement Offer: Exciting opportunity to join a company in growth.
