We are seeking a highly experienced professional to lead our Property, Energy & Engineering Lines division in Continental Europe.
This role involves strategic leadership, client and broker relationship development, and driving profitable growth.
Location : Based in Switzerland, France, Spain, Germany, Italy, Netherlands, or Belgium.
Key Responsibilities : Own full P&L accountability and develop market strategies for Property across Continental Europe.Contribute to growth and profitability through active sourcing and client engagement.Negotiate with clients and brokers, build relationships, and develop new business.Develop underwriting strategies and guidelines.Represent Sompo International externally at industry forums and events.Qualifications : 15+ years in underwriting and senior management in Property, with experience in Europe.Deep industry knowledge, relevant qualifications, and a successful track record.Strong network within broker and risk management communities.Leadership skills with a focus on team empowerment and strategic growth.Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.Benefits : Health & Wellness, Retirement Plans, Parental Leave, and more.
