What are we looking for?We seek a UX Designer to lead the design of intuitive, compliant, and engaging web applications that manage connected access control systems.
You will play a key role in shaping a responsive, cloud-hosted IoT platform that enables users to monitor and control automatic doors and access points remotely, in compliance with IEC60839 and related security standards.
Key Responsibilities:Conduct user research and journey mapping to understand workflows related to access control and building security management.Design scalable interfaces that function effectively across devices (desktop, tablet) using responsive design principles.Create wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, user flows, and interactive prototypes using tools like Figma.Apply and extend existing design systems and UI libraries, ensuring consistency with brand identity and accessibility guidelines.Collaborate with cloud engineering, product management, and security teams to define interfaces reflecting system health, real-time alerts, and user control of physical endpoints.Perform usability testing and iterate designs based on feedback, analytics, and stakeholder reviews.Ensure compliance with IEC60839 functional expectations, including logging, door state control, and auditability of access events.Design experiences reflecting the real-time nature of a cloud-hosted IoT environment, handling edge conditions, delays, and connection states.Document UX decisions for cross-team collaboration and participate in agile processes.Skills & Experience:Bachelor's or Master's degree in User Experience Design, Interaction Design, HCI, or related field.5+ years designing web applications, preferably for B2B SaaS IoT platforms.Strong command of Figma, understanding of REST APIs, event-driven UI, and real-time UX.Knowledge of role-based access control and user activity auditing from a UX perspective.Experience designing for cloud-hosted applications focusing on latency, security, and observability.Applications from individuals with disability certificates are welcome.What do we offer?Permanent contract for a stable, long-term project based on experience.Vacation days based on seniority, with 1 additional day per year of service (up to 3 extra days).Monthly follow-ups to support work-life balance.Access to our gamification platform, Profile Play.Flexible compensation options.Perks & gifts such as Christmas hampers, birthday cards, and raffles.Team-building events, including summer parties and Christmas dinners.Tailor-made training plans.Interested?
