The Applications Engineer has responsibility for a project (technically) under guidance from the Technical Team Leader, from receipt of the client's enquiry through to acceptance of a purchase order and handover to the Projects Team.Previous experience gained in an Air Filtration business would be a major advantage for this role.As we are an international business and this is a role with a European scope, we are taking a flexible approach as to where this position will be located. Our European hubs being: Cramlington - UK, Vitória - Spain, Gasny - France and Dubai. (Please indicate your preference when applying).Please Note: International / Domestic travel may be a requirement of this role; therefore, a valid passport and the ability to travel is required.Position Responsibilities:Responsible for all technical aspects of tenders.Collaborate with customers and develop relationships with technical staff.Prepare and support design reviews as directed by the Technical Team Leader and Chief Engineer.Provide acoustic calculations for tenders where necessary.Support sales staff in meetings with customers to present and review tenders.Prepare technical case studies and data sheets.Identify 'continuous improvement' ideas.Maintain an awareness of Filtration products
