About The Role We are looking for a Backend Engineer responsible for the development of the Connect platform within the CloudBlue solution . Connect is a micro-service SaaS platform operating in the Cloud infrastructure which has API interaction, relational and non-relational databases, message broker exchanges , etc.
We are a growing distributed team primar i ly located in Barcelona with people in Sofia and Irvine CA. We are a diverse group of young and energetic engineers building the cutting-edge tech platform. What You'll Be Doing Primar i ly building API and services in Python
Developing and supporting features from design to production
Closely working with frontend engineers in small feature teams
Collaborating with other CloudBlue teams
A pplying tech proposals and enhancements
Working with your team and engineering manager to grow your career
What You Need 3 + years of experi e nce working as a Software Engineer
Experience in Python with 2 + years of experience
API development and integration expert
Moderate PostgreSQL and RDBMS knowledge
Familiar with Docker & Docker Compose
Basic understanding of the modern frontend tech
Professional working proficiency in English language
Nice To Have Django/DRF & FastAP I experience
Experience with k8s
Cloud experience with AWS, Azure or GCP
Experience with IaC, CI/CD, monitoring and alerting
O pen source contribution or a pet project
