To support the growing needs of the business, we've created a new role Accounts Payable Specialist to join the team reporting to our Senior Accounting Manager. This role is expected to work very closely with the Accounting team.Key ResponsibilitiesManage the processing of vendor invoices, including vendor creation, vendor maintenance, purchase orders tracking, accounting entries, on time approvals and paymentsProcess vendor invoices, travel expenses, credit cards and petty cash expenses in NetsuitePerform payment runs on a bi-monthly basis as per internal guidelinesProactively ensure that any payment delay is justified and monitored properlyReconcile the Accounts Payable ledger with General ledger on a monthly basisOwn and track Accounts Payable metrics for the Nexthink GroupActively support the General Ledger Accountants with monthly, quarterly and yearly closingFocus on continuous improvements on Accounts Payable activitiesCommunicate with vendors and internal stakeholders whenever requiredCollaborate with the Treasury Manager to facilitate cash forecasting exercisesCollaborate with the Procurement Manager to deploy procurement processesCollaborate with Global Accounting and FP&A teams on projectsAssist in ad-hoc projects for the controlling department whenever neededQualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting or FinanceMinimum of 2-3 years in a similar roleTechnology savvy with advanced knowledge of accounting and reporting softwareAbility to maintain a high degree of confidentialityFluent in English and Spanish, another European language a plusExperience with US GAAP and working for a publicly traded company a plusHands on, organized and structuredAdditional InformationWe are 900+ employees strong in 21 countries across 8 different time zones speaking 60+ languages.
