AVL Iberica offers a job in Spain (ES) asCalibration Engineer (experienced)Several possibilities for an experienced Calibration Engineer within our growing workgroup that include:System validation engineers: Follow a validation plan to verify the correct behavior of powertrain components when submitted to a failurePowertrain debug engineers: Assist production / end-of-line / dealerships and calibration teams to maintain prototypes and customer vehicles fully operationalCalibration Specialist: Assembly, validation and industrialization of calibrations related to powertrain componentsSenior calibration engineer: Plan and perform a wide range of tests within engine bench and vehicle on engine base calibration / emission / diagnostics or driveabilityCalibration pilot: work together with junior and senior calibration engineers to ensure the proper development of the calibration (technical lead - overview of all activities)Team Coordinator: manage and support a small team of calibration engineers that work on the same activity (both from technical and from company perspective) Mostly gasoline hybrid platforms within our current projectsYOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:Depending on selected roleYOUR PROFILE:Education: Mechanical /Automotive / or similar Engineering degreeMasters in Automotive related subjects desirableProvided understanding of internal combustion engines and vehicle dynamics.Competences acquired on ETAS INCA, AVL Concerto, Vector Canalyzer, AVL Concerto, AVL Creta, DDT2000; Matlab simulink or similar tools requiredEnglish + Spanish requiredFrench highly desirable.Driving license B (passenger cars) mandatoryMinimum 3 years of previous calibration experience.
