We are also a leading supplier of uranium refining, conversion, and fuel manufacturing services from our operations in Ontario. The Role Cameco is currently seeking three legal advisors to assist our team. As a member of the legal team, you will be responsible for providing legal support to Cameco, its subsidiaries, and joint ventures. Each of the three positions we are seeking will have a separate portfolio to lead and could be in one of the three areas noted. In this role, you will: provide legal support and advice on corporate matters necessary to the business that may include responsibilities in one or more of these areas: negotiate, draft, review and approve commercial agreements, specifically marketing contracts prepare and review securities documents and corporate public disclosure provide corporate governance support assist with international projects and joint ventures corporate financing, exploration, subsidiary governance and other corporate matters necessary to the business   Required: A law degree and member of, or eligible for membership in, the Law Society of Saskatchewan A minimum of five years of post-bar call legal experience or an equivalent combination of education and work experience Strong written and verbal negotiation and communication skills Collaborative, results-oriented team member with strong attention to detail, with the ability to identify legal risks and provide risk-adjusted advice and solutions Self-directed and motivated, handling various legal projects simultaneously Willingness to travel, as required   Cameco is proud to offer a competitive total reward package which includes:   Competitive compensation program with base and variable pay Flexible health, drug, dental, and vision plan with a health spending and personal spending account Fixed benefits including employee and dependant life, AD&D, disability benefits and paid vacation leave Employee & Family Assistance Programs RRSP and RPP matching program Relocation costs   Cameco is an employment equity employer and aims to achieve gender parity, and as such, preference will be given to qualified members of equity groups.
