Your Role We are seeking an experienced and forward-thinking Chief Information Officer (CIO) to oversee the development and implementation of our company's technology strategy. The CIO will work closely with senior executives, business unit leaders, and IT staff, driving innovation and business growth through the effective use of technology. The role will be responsible for the entire IT department and ensuring that it provides the best service possible to the organization. Develop and implement technology strategies and plans to support the company's business objectives. Evaluate and recommend new technologies and platforms that can improve business operations and increase efficiency. Oversee the IT department, including infrastructure, architecture, security, and governance. Ensure the availability and reliability of IT systems, applications, and communications infrastructure. Manage the IT budget and resources, ensuring that spending on technology is aligned with company goals and objectives. Lead cross-functional teams to implement new IT projects and initiatives. Provide leadership and mentoring to IT staff, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning. Develop and maintain vendor relationships that are instrumental in driving innovation and growth. Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements related to technology, such as cybersecurity and data privacy. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; Master's degree preferred. At least 10-15 years of experience in IT management in a multinational company. Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing technology strategies that align with business objectives across different countries. Strong knowledge of emerging technologies, such as cloud computing, artificial intelligence, and Blockchain. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships across all levels of the organization. Strong leadership and people management skills. A solution-focused approach with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Experience in budget management and financial analysis. A deep understanding of legal and regulatory requirements related to technology, such as cybersecurity and data privacy.
