What do we expect from you? The Trading Compliance team in CEPSA Trading is looking for a compliance and internal controls all-rounder to manage a varied portfolio of regulatory compliance, assurance and internal control activities in support of the CEPSA Trading business. In doing so, you will play a critical role in ensuring CEPSA Trading conducts its activities in accordance with relevant applicable laws and regulations as well internal CEPSA policies and procedures. You will work closely with traders, trading management as well as colleagues in finance, risk management, legal and internal audit.
Functions: The Trading Compliance and Internal Control Analyst will:
Identify Compliance risks and assess whether appropriate controls are in place in Trading to manage these risks. Undertake activities to assess the effectiveness of internal controls. Manage operational compliance matters such as exchange access administration and regulatory reporting. Support business-led projects and transactions with robust, solutions-focused compliance advice. Keep up to date with regulatory developments and analyse and assess the impact of applicable forthcoming legislation on CEPSA Trading. Support the application within Trading of centralised compliance programmes (bribery and corruption, anti-trust, prevention of crime, system of internal control for financial and non-financial information). What are we looking for? Experience/knowledge of compliance and trading. Experience of working in a compliance related role in a commodity trading environment. Good awareness of key compliance risks relevant to commodity trading. Understanding of internal control frameworks and related assurance activities. Confident dealing with ambiguity. Strong analytical skills with an eye for detail. High level of English .
