The Role The Content Editor will report directly to the Content Manager. The successful candidate will help launch and optimise SEO-driven content for one of our largest sites, specialising in our North American market.
In this role, we value diverse perspectives and encourage you to apply even if you don't meet every qualification listed.
Your Impact:Be a gatekeeper for our North American market providing high-quality content through proofreading, line editing, and writing to match our content guidelines and standards. Create briefs (based on templates) for new content that will go out to freelancers (at least 3 pages per week)Editing all copy for your market from freelancers/agencies to ensure it meets QA criteria before going live on-siteOptimising existing content based on our user and SEO best practices to meet our internal KPIs. Uploading daily pieces of content on our CMS system (Contentful) to ensure your markets have up-to-date content. Proposing new ideas to improve engagement our audiences in North America and expanding markets.What You'll Bring:A strong command of English grammar and language, with French or Canadian French language skills a plusRelevant experience in a similar role editing content for the web.Hands-on experience with SEO from a previous role and experience using metrics to monitor/validate content success.Solid writing and proofing skills, as well as an unrivalled eye for detail.A "can do" attitude that thrives when working to deadlines in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment.Be self-motivated, imaginative and confident in working on your own initiative and with autonomy.Team player mentality.
